Access Awareness Day – June 4
June 4th is Access Awareness Day. Working Design is pleased to have played a role in developing materials for the annual Access Awareness Day sponsored by our client SPARC BC – The Social Planning and Research Council of BC.
Celebrated on the first Saturday in June, the event promotes the rights of people with disabilities, and raises awareness about accessibility and social inclusion.
The brochure focused on seven features that makes a community accessible. These include adaptable housing and accessible parks, parking, gas stations, public transit, streets, taxi services.
